Well, that effing sucked.
Georgia played the best game they've played all season, and we played our worst. Pitiful. Corey Lemonier had a nice game and worked his butt off. Emory Blake made a couple of nice catches. And of course Lutzie had our only touchdown catch. Besides that, we sucked.
I think the thing I hate the worst about this is that this win virtually guarantees that Georgia will be the champion of the SEC-East. That means all the damn Boise State people will be saying, "See, Boise State beat the SEC-East champion! We're good enough to play in the SEC!" As my mortal enemy Lee Corso would say, "Not so fast, my friend." You played the SEC-East champion at the beginning of the season when they were still rusty from the off-season, and by the way, have you SEEN the SEC-East this year? Bearden High School could probably be the SEC-East champion. You just stay in Idaho with your bird-killing electric blue turf and your neon orange shoes and dream about one day playing a schedule that qualifies you to get a shot at the BCS Championship game. So glad Boise State also lost last night. Kind of upset Stanford lost, though, because assuming the poll voters won't give us an LSU/Bama rematch in the Championship game, I would've liked to have seen Andrew Luck get a chance (not that they would've beaten LSU - SEC, baby!).
Anyway, moving on to Homecoming next week, and still holding out a little bit of hope for the Iron Bowl, which is nothing if not exciting every year. WDE!
